Baldwinsville Senior Awarded 8th Annual Bill & Sandra Pomeroy Scholarship

Congratulations to Ryan Shelton, a recent graduate of Charles W. Baker High School, who has been awarded the Bill & Sandra Pomeroy Scholarship!

Available to the children of CXtec and TERACAI employees, the Bill & Sandra Pomeroy Scholarship was established in 2005 based on a suggestion from employees participating in a community leadership development program. Due to rising higher education costs, founder and CEO William G. Pomeroy increased the original amount of $1000 to $2500 to lessen the financial burden on the family.

As recipient of the scholarship, Shelton successfully demonstrated how the CXtec and TERACAI core values will ensure his future success. Shelton was also selected based on his academic achievements, extracurricular and community involvement, references and personal goals. Ryan was chosen out of four candidates to receive this year’s scholarship.

This fall, Shelton will be attending Juniata College in Huntingdon PA as a scholar athlete on the men’s volleyball team. As a biology major, he plans to pursue a career in medicine. We imagine his parents are pretty proud!

Congrats Ryan, and good luck on your future endeavors!
