Chris Amidon is promoted to Sr. Director of Business Automation at CXtec

CXtec Promotion

 

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Chris Amidon is promoted to Sr. Director of Business Automation at CXtec from her previous position as Director of Accounting for CXtec.

Chris will be responsible for leading the CXtec team of Business Analysts with the goal of driving system automation and enhancements that will enable the business to move forward more efficiently. Chris and her team will work in conjunction with the Development, Architecture, & Engineering Teams to streamline CXtec systems, remove duplicate/manual work, and leverage automation.

Chris’ knowledge of CXtec’s systems will be crucial in the next phases of the business.

Her problem-solving skills, connections with multiple departments and her ability to look strategically at our internal processes are why she is ideal for this role and CXtec is thrilled to have her join the IT team.

 

Chris started with CXtec over 25 years ago where she held several different positions within the Accounting department. She participated in supporting many community programs, such as Autism Awareness, Adopt a Family, Heart Walk, Food Bank, and many more. She was also on the United Way, and Rescue Squad committee and team for several years.

Chris graduated from RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, where she earned several certificates, including ISO Internal Auditor, LEAD Program, Skillsoft Course, Leadership Development through Ahern, Murphey & Associates, and PL/SQL class through Whitman School of Management.

In her free time, Chris enjoys reading, gardening, traveling to watch various NHL hockey games, and playing with her granddaughter. She takes pleasure in spending time with her 12-year-old black lab, loving and supporting husband of 19 years, step-son, his wife and her granddaughter.
