Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon – Carol M. Baldwin Fund

 

Congratulations to the CXtec and TERACAI team for finishing 7th in the 2014 Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon, July 20th! 100% of proceeds benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund which helps aid in new treatments, protocols and ultimately a cure.

The Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Event which includes a 1/2 miles swim in the natural spring fed Gillie Lake, 14 mile bike route and a 5k run. The course is located off of Route 5.

Other upcoming activities we’ll be participating in for the Carol Baldwin Research Fund, include:

 

•         Paddle for the Cure – 9/20

This consists of a two-mile paddle down the Moose River beginning at Mountainman Outdoor Supply Co. in Old Forge, NY. All benefits go to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of Central New York and supports grants awarded to Upstate Medical University for breast cancer research.

 

•         Aiming Fore the Cure Golf Tournament – 9/21

Aiming Fore the Cure Golf Tournament will be taking place at Atunyote Golf Course at Turning Stone Resort Casino. Proceeds benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY. Entry fee includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, awards dinner, prizes, and more.

 

•         Run for Their Life – 10/26

This annual walk/run is organized by categories such as schools, hospitals, colleges, banks, credit unions and corporations along with individuals that form teams and compete against each other. Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY, Inc., Syracuse University and SUNY Upstate Medical Center are sponsors for this annual event.
