The Catalyst 3524 (WS-C3524-XL-EN) switch is a 24-port 10/100 switch with (2) GBIC slots. These GBIC slots can be used to support a variety of fiber and copper GBIC modules. Cisco's stacking GigaStack modules, which allows up to nine Catalyst 3500 switches (or Gigabit-enabled Catalyst 2900-XL switches) to be stacked together, are also supported. Key features include:
