VoIP Small Business (turn-key)

Smaller businesses that operate in a local community instead of a national market still have most of the same needs and goals as large corporations. Owners of these "Turnkey" businesses tend to seek out the most cost effective methods of doing business in order to save money and increase their profit margin. One of the more important needs any small business has is a reliable telephone system. Even smaller companies must have the ability to make and receive long distance calls from any state, or even internationally. A modern solution to establishing a reliable phone system that is also cost effective comes in the form of a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP).

VoIP is a means of sending and receiving phone calls through the World Wide Web. These Internet based calls will provide the same high quality as any analog phone, and can also offer the same special features such as conference calls, call waiting and caller ID. Using a VoIP system can be advantageous for many reasons, such as:

Multiple phone lines

Small businesses may only need a few phone lines, and with a VoIP program they will be able to transmit multiple calls through a broadband connection at the same time. A lot of small business owners purchase a 2/4 IP Telephone, which automatically comes with 2 separate phone lines. An additional 2 lines may be added quickly and inexpensively if the business requires up to 4 individual phone lines. Each line may be given its own distinct number, or all four lines may have the same number which can be used on different phones.

Portability

Executives and employees of any company are often on the go, and it is essential that they have the ability to keep in contact for business and work related calls. VoIP services can be utilized anywhere that an internet connection is available. There are also wireless systems that work like any WiFi Internet connection, so a VoIP can be used wherever a staff member may be traveling.

Low Cost

The biggest benefit for any small company is the reasonable rate that VoIP providers are able to offer. Calls tend to cost much less than they would if they were made over an analog line, and some services even provide unlimited long distance calling at no extra charge. Users simply pay a set monthly fee instead of being charged per call. Many companies also offer the extra services like automatic redial, call forwarding and others at either no charge or a very low rate.

VoIP systems can benefit any sized company, from the smallest start up business to the largest international corporations. There are many different companies who offer this service, and the level of competition helps to keep the rates low, and levels of customer service high.
