Manufactured at our Technology Certification and Distribution Center (TCDC), from raw material delivery to final testing, our enclosures meet your connectivity needs without breaking your bank. Plus, all enclosures are designed and developed through an ISO 9001:2008-certified process to ensure you get a quality product that helps you get the most out of your cabling infrastructure investment.

After the ISO 9001:2008-certified design and development process, metal, fiber-optic components, fasteners, and other raw materials are delivered to TCDC and sealed and stocked in a dust-free, clean area.

Enclosures are then assembled accurately and quickly (after all, express is in our name) at clean, modern workspaces that allow flexibility for product customization. Enclosures with fiber-optic components demand attention to detail, and our ISO-certified, ESD-protected environment allows for precision and accuracy in all our assembly processes. After final testing and other quality control activities are performed, enclosures are given a barcode and sent to packaging.

TCDC is also home to custom labeling for CABLExpress cables. Customized barcodes, company logos, and other important information can help your company save valuable time in the data center.

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)

We take numerous measures to make sure equal2new® is completely protected.

At CXtec, we’re well aware of the hazards of ESD. Quite simply, you want the products you purchase to work right out of the box every time, and we want to deliver you the peace of mind to expect just that. The threat of ESD is a hindrance to that outcome, and we’ve gone to great lengths to ensure ESD does not negatively affect the quality we deliver to you.

We employ numerous protective measures including:

• Carbon epoxy floor coating throughout our handling area – conductive surface that carries built-up charge to ground
• Heel and wrist straps worn by our technicians – tested twice daily
• Gloves to act as insulators
• Bench grounding and dissipative work surfaces – spread out charge and reduce build-up
• Cart and rack grounding for any surfaces that will hold equipment during transport around our facility
• Metallized anti-static shielding bags – encase and insulate product for shipping
• Non-conductive foam – cushions, protects and insulates during shipping
• Wrist straps included for customers – when handling equipment out of box
